Just found out my painting of Mary Tavey was picked in a competition I entered online, in which the catagory was Landscapes.

When you say it like that it feels quite good, I think, and its about time someone noticed my work. That has certainly cheered me up a bit.
They judged it online, and awarded it a certificate for Special Recognition , which really means it was a runner up, but they added it to their online gallery.
