I have been varnishing my latest stourhead painting, Appollo's View. It is always such a good feeling when I see all the colours coming out so much richer and vibrant, Acrylic paint tends to dry so flat. It has now had 3 coats of varnish and is looking very luscious. I would love to be brave enough to use resin on my work, but it would be a big gamble if I made a mistake.
