Duncliff view

This is what happened to the canvas from the previous post, where I sacrificed an old canvas for the size I needed.
I just loved the colours of these weeds growing on a corner, and they kept catching my eye with their pink and green foliage, I just knew I had to paint them. I have been told that they are called Fireweed, and I can see why!
In the distance you can see Duncliff hill and the Blackmore vale, and this view is from near the windmill at East Knoyle.
Canvas size - 70cm x 50cm

A couple of images,  building up the colours on the black.
