I finished this a couple of weeks ago but had to wait to post it on social media, as it was a surprise for my oldest son and his partner. He proposed to her in New York.
He has been nagging on at me for ages to do more New York Paintings, but I was not convinced there was much call for it round here!
His younger brother emailed me some photographs that he took during his own visit there with his wife, so that I had something to work from, as I have never been there.
Apparently this is very close to the spot that means so much to them, and now I have presented it, they are so pleased and surprised by it. I know they love it.
It doesn't even have a title yet! I wanted something romantic!
